@ peter what are you doing up at that time?! the cricket finished yesterday

as for venice its another year of dull attempts at pluralist placation of members. dull and pointless i'm afraid. heard of several non mexican/nswga proposals that didnt get up. shame. we need change at the auia so bad. any comment on the new boss?

the booby prize link is a cherry peter.

new boss probably had no interest miles. she is grounded in a reality?

whats interesting is howhard tanned hide and side kicks the clarke rubber rep and the big blonde dipdish hanging on grimly for 3 rounds preserving their euro holiday as part of the trade show junket.
not about pluralist placation of members. record to this point says otherwise.
its the placation of the committee as pluralist curators.

#5 already winner - the chairman's own entry?

    #5 - let me guess?

There will be an aboriginal guy in a loin cloth holding a fire stick in the main entry, followed by a stunningly irrelevant GA pay and display of lame regrowth models. How pre-1970s Australia.

Would be more interesting if the first guy was white and burnt, and the aboriginal guy was allowed to be the architect. Too post-2008 USA?

    ^ sounds good luke.
SGAs sitting at an ACF trestle table in the front room and black fella urban development in the back would make a good show.

Easier than trying to find space for bulldozing a firebreak and putting a 10 foot chain link fence around the back room.

    top idea.

what you will be looking for down the track r the architects without it on their cv.

sponsor $ = not "philanthropy" in australia?
these dudes would brand a fly on a sheep's arse if it stopped still long enough.

Brisbane seems to love its meat. A number of nothings can;t stop promoting their 1:500 model contributions from the last effort. Check this link - this guy is really struggling: http://www.ark.net.au/press/publications/2008/news03.jpg together with http://www.ark.net.au/news/news.htm 'self-promoting w*nker' I think the term is?

Maybe the whole marketing/exposure thing is really a tax deductable donation for the RAIA mates books. Would have to be, nothing could seem this generous without a catch.

^^^^^why would u want money back miles? ark r getting value commercially.

potential for china inc. to make an international incident over aus venice in 010?
would have an interest by now in commenting on the many interventions mexico and co. make on behalf of minorities at home and abroad. lets not forget kruddinc. kicks arse at housing solutions.

By the way, the NSWGA in waiting is:

1. a queenslander

2. aboriginal

3. from a marginal seat

4.only allowed to touch the 'fire' bit of the entry

5. and is disabled by The Real NSWGA (a big fan of painted QANTAS jets and surveys)

5 out of 5 - red hot tip Mr Miles ....

so - what you're saying info is that venice 010 will be venice 08 without a hitch?
sans the centrelink and travis bickle fill a black hole / whip up windlock invasion slideshow.

^ and is that really a dead horse cabbie?
or is it enjoying the pleasure of rolling in its own shit while its being flogged.

^ That is precisely what I am saying.

The RAIA/VB romanticise it - separate the aboriginals away as an 'other' that should have no control orf the architectural curatorship. It happened in an underhand way in 2006, again in 2008, (and going by the NSWGA's entry) is set up to happen again in 2010.

I recall that this is what Noel Pearson termed acts of the 'morally vain'
Or to be clearer, acts of racism

HD - it's pretty hard to find architects without 'it' on their CV

What's this half-time club by the way? Sounds underground

so if dr john is now at monash, and dcm won uts, does that mean that the abp comp is now a dcm cakewalk as predicted? lets just send the dr to venice with a suitcase of projects.....

    ^^history.
where a generation that = 0 perfected s(h)itting down as they would say it.

    ^^^
fairly harsh info. saying he is moral and vain.
i think of gravitarse is a character of immense surface, girded by blubber but pretty skinny on bones and meat - more the uncle monty of mexico - tending to his potted capsicums and fondly fondling his memories of english summers in the back of an alvis with an assortment of colonial toffs.

His fumbled venetian tackle in 08 was down to the club president doing a ron bareassy chewy off the boot spray at the points before kaptain krudd's team got the ball and booted the hollow apology through the symbolic goal posts a mile wide at the other end of the ground.

For 010 he will be just trying to hitch the mexican govt. to private reconstruction efforts financed by insurance companies, driven by individual landowners and assisted by public charity to do with 3,000 mostly white peoples houses------while 120,000 indigenous peoples houses his pointy hat masters are responsible for still haven't been built or even started after 2 years.

A bit of nugget polish is more a disguise for gravitarse's virgin white work dress thats still not broken in.

Wondering what starring role Ms AA Editor will play this year around?

Cash for comments - junket for spin - RAIA loudspeaking billboard - blah, blah ....
Apparently landing in Brisbane for a talkfest at UQ tomorrow night (Friday) - topic is what media contributes to the architectural community. In the case of the AA it would be f*ck all - unless you are a paid up RAIA corporate-VB sponsoring-member-preferably from Melbourne, or it they have to, Sydney - then it would be a tax deduction (and that is fair enough). Another piece of cunning UQ planning (people in Brisbane drink on Friday evenings). Mr Supercollateral will be there too, pandering - he's lost his edge since converting his site to a pseudo commerical commentary for his mates - playing with the dark side - AA editor in the making me thinks. When will these people learn - commerce and critique don't mix?

Anyway - if you want to check it out - go to the Mayne Hall auditorium at 6pm at UQ ...
    see you there

can't understand what miles is pissed about?

Dr. Jabba is no worse than other lame profs dotted about mexico and assorted provinces of asia minor.
eg. the woodchuck travis bickle slotted in at d-con - another rip van winkle.
or MU - a faculty half stacked with retards sacked by the parade director last century & kiwis who couldn't cut it at home?

or u luke? the (EDIT junkmailers) r the perfect team for pumping out interior design monthly.
imagine putting an intelligent person in the job - torturing them with repetitively straightening out coils day after day. horses for courses.

re miles $ on dcm at mu.
assuming ambitious (mines bigger than yours) - instead of intelligent life (me too) @ MU managerial level.
UTS and monash dunny paper doctorate puts jabba & his ear cleaners @ a disadvantage?
hairdresser $ is punting the krauts with no b.s. ESD cred & DS for a place.
Pinot is back on wine list - no taste for savignon blanc + olives on toothpicks?

a weekend of pluralism? = positions?
@ miles - auia inclusivist corporate mud soup should not to be confused with pluralism?

gravitarse & co r self appointed elite monoculturalists who wear old inclusivist overcoats they have had since woodstock, the closest they come to pluralism is cross dressing.
