Presented by The Office of the Government Architect, Perth Samplings 07 is a monthly lecture series happening at The Bakery on the first Wednesday of the month. PS07 will provide a forum for architects, academics, urban and landscape designers to comment on, speculate about, discuss and debate contemporary urban conditions based on research, proposition and current practice.
This session of PS07 features Professor Shane Murray who will be discussing his current work including curating the Venice Biennale, 2006 with Nigel Bertram; the ARC linkage grant for a research project entitled 'The Ageing of Aquarius: Designing New Housing Solutions for Australia's Baby Boomers' and his own work as an architect and with government.
CODA is an emerging architectural practice based in Fremantle and will also be speaking at this PS07. CODA are winners of the national design ideas competition Building For Diversity in Northbridge 2005 and architects Emma Williamson and Kieran Wong will be presenting their current work.
