Foundation Professor of Architecture and Head of Discipline, Architecture

Monash University seeks a Foundation Professor / Head of Discipline for its new Architecture program in the Faculty of Art & Design. This is a rare opportunity to start an Architecture program at a major research university.

An inspirational leader is needed to establish the program of courses, research and research training, within the framework of the Faculty’s existing disciplines of design, multimedia & digital arts and fine arts.

The appointee will have an international reputation for innovative practice or research that advances architecture. Their standing and credibility as an architect will attract the best students and higher research degree candidates, from within Australia and internationally.

The position is for a period of five years. Subject to performance and program criteria, a further term is negotiable.

Remuneration: A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated. Relocation travel, removal allowance and salary packaging are available.
