Office Manager / Bookkeeper.
A boutique architectural practice, located in an open plan warehouse studio in the CBD, is seeking an enthusiastic new team member to join a friendly and relaxed office environment.
As their bookkeeper you will be responsible for the management of accounts and payroll, as the office manager your role will encompass a diverse range of tasks and activities and excellent, organizational skills are an essential component of this position.
We are seeking a mature, experienced team member with a sense of humor, ability to work autonomously, pleasant phone manner and flexibility to assume varied responsibilities.
Roles and responsibilities will include;
Prepare accurate and well presented documents including general correspondence, financial reports, minutes and agendas.
Provide timely and accurate secretarial support to the 2 company directors
Carry out additional general administration tasks as required.
Prepare BAS and PAYG returns
Fortnightly payroll processing for 12 staff
Preparation of employment contracts and other HR duties as required.
Liaising with external accountant
Reception and telephone duties.
IT basic system administration
Communicate with clients
Participate in the development and implementation of general office systems and procedures
Advanced Proficiency Quick Books
Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Project.
Proficiency in Adobe PS, Illustrator and Indesign desirable but not essential.
The ability to work as part of a small team to deliver services in a professional and friendly manner is essential. This is a varied and responsible role where you will be required to work consistently with minimal supervision to ensure important deadlines are consistently met.
Salary is negotiable according to experience.
