ARCHITECTS FOR PEACE ASKS:
Should the irresponsible behaviour of a corporation such as James Hardie be a call to question the role that these companies have in the built environment?
After all, it would be safe to say that their donations not only reached political parties but also our professional and educational institutions - if this was the case, shouldn't we re-evaluate the role and influence that large and powerful corporations have in our decisions? Are we independent, objective and ethical when it comes to being critical of their role, designs and/or practices?
