What is it?
Young people from Sydney taking part in the 2003 event.
Oxfam Australia's Walk Against Want is a national event that raises funds to help poor communities in 26 countries. Walk events are held in more than 60 locations around Australia.
Thank you to the thousands of people who participated in 2005 events and helped raised money for Oxfam Australias long term development work. We hope you can join us again in 2006 for the 40th anniversary walk and continue to take steps against poverty.
