More vileness in Iraq as U.S. marine snipers reinstall themselves in a 9th century minaret, which is now getting knocked around by the odd insurgent missile. The minaret is spiral-shaped and towers over evrything around it - it was mistaken for the Tower of Babel in the Middle Ages according to this Telegraph report:
