Brisbane: Future Shock - National Conference

25 November - 27 November 2005
Future Shock - a National Conference for Young Professionals working in the Built Environment

From 25-27 November 2005, the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane will host ‘Future Shock’ - the second national forum for young built environment professionals

Future Shock arises from the ashes of Youthquake, held in 2004 as a part of the Year of the Built Environment. It is a three day national youth conference about policy, creativity and the built environment. Within five key topics the participants set the agenda, select the speakers and pose the questions.

Future Shock is coordinated by 2050 - the national young built environment professional alliance which formed after Youthquake in 2004. 2050 is made up of young professionals from organisations including AILA, RAIA, PCA, AIQS PIA and AIB. 2050 exists to drive national initiatives towards a more sustainable Australia, with passion, commitment and youthful energy.
