Event Description: Don't miss this opportunity to combine tours of Australia's premiere green
buildings, an inspiring discussion on issues of urban sustainability and a
seductive social event.

After touring either Kangan Batman TAFE's Automotive Centre for Excellence or Council House 2 (which is no longer open for public tours), indulge sustainably in drinks, canapes and conversation at the 100 Mile Cafe, where all ingredients are sourced within 100 miles of Melbourne.

Alan Pears, RMIT adjunct professor and co-director of Sustainable Solutions Pty Ltd, will lead a discussion that explores issues of sustainability, the challenges we face and the role of engineers in building a sustainable future.
